My ram is 256, that is why its slow. Is a p3 still a usable computer? yes. Will it ever run recent games? No.

This is going to depend more on the amount of RAM and what video card you have more so than what CPU you are using.

Get 512mb's or more of ram, and what video card do you have?

PowerMac 9600(1 ghz G4)
512mb RAM
50gb SCSI
ATi 9200 PCI

Just upgrade your monitor, that should do the trick.

Right, Outlander?

LOL...that's exactly why your PC is slow! XP needs at least 512MB to run decently, even more than that if you wanna play games. And as the others have said, you'd also need a decent video card. There is no way to magically make your system faster thru software or BIOS changes...you need to upgrade some of your hardware!
