Subject: PD 3.2 & gigabyte board wont OC
OS: windows xp pro sp2
CPU/Ram: pentium D 3.2 Pressler, 4
Model/Manufacturer: custom
Comment:
Under Bios OC settings it is set at 16x by 200, if i go to 201 the computer restarts makes some beeps and goes back to 200. It has a setting that i left on that automatically changes the voltage based on the clock change. I was hoping to make this thing fly! It has a pci Ex 16x 7600gt 256mb. Temperature is 46 degrees celcius, and wont even load bios after changing the clock?? Gigabyte comes with a windows utility to OC, but it isnt impressive. Thanks

It would help if you listed the board model number.

Apparently your board has some hidden BIOS options that have to be disabled, THEN you will be able to overclock.

"Unlock your cpu by disabling the EIST, CE1 and TM1 options in the hidden bios then overclock the FSB at your leisure.

Ctrl+F1 to unlock the hidden options in the bios"

I found that info in this thread:
