Ihave a pcchips motherboard with a 200mhz c6 winchip and want to put a higger cpu in the board the manual says it will take up to 233 mhz cpu but i cannot find one that my clock or bus speed will allow if cyrix 233 cpu is a 66 mhz bus speed i then need a 3.5x clock multipiler to get the full 233mhz my board from 50mhz to 83mhz bus speed and up to 4x clock mulipiler reserved but no 3.5x can any body help

Let me give this a shot...
I just happen to have an old Cyrix PR233 right here. It runs at 2.9v on the 75mhz FSB X 2.5 multipier. Yes, I know, that's only 187.5mhz, but the Cyrix is "rated" as compared to a Pentium. That's what the "PR" is...Pentium Rating. So, in theory, even though this CPU runs at 187.5mhz, it's equivalent to a Pentium 233. The Cyrix doesn't overclock well & IMHO, should never be compared to a Pentium...LOL!
You have plenty of other options...you can run up to a K6-2/550mhz! Here's an important tip...the Pentium 233MMX sees the 1.5x multiplier setting as 3.5x...but the K6-2 sees the 2.0x multiplier as 6.0x! I'm not sure if this mobo uses SIMMs, DIMMs or both...but you might have probs running SIMMs at 83FSB...75 should be OK though. If you use DIMMs, you have nothing to worry about.
Here's a link to settings for different AMD CPU's that should work with the M573:
