I have 512 MB of PC2100 DDR Kingston "valueram". Can I use this in a AMD athlonXP 2600+ with a 333 MHz FSB?

All you can do is try...if it doesn't work, you can try several things:

1. raise the RAM voltage to 2.7v & see if that allows you to run your DDR266 RAM as DDR333

2. run the CPU & RAM "asynchronous" (at different speeds) - CPU at 333, RAM at 266 - this will hurt performance somewhat

3. get PC2700 RAM & run both CPU & RAM at 333

4. Get PC3200 RAM, clock CPU at 2100mhz (10.5 x 200mhz) & run RAM at DDR400
