your mobo is one of those oddball types, this is the first time i have heard of it...
it's not advisable to use a different bios not specific to your mobo, that could cause you some hassle, possibly permanent damage or loss...it sounds unlikely that you will be able to do anything with it...your best bet would be to get a different mobo from asus, msi, epox or gigabyte..those mobo's allow you to play overclocker

what else do you have?
cpu
what kind of memory
hard drive
video card

It looks like an OEM board with everything onboard in Micro format.
With all the trouble you may have to go through, you'd better get another board like Tbird4point6LX97 recommended.

A new board from MSI or Albatron is not expensive www.newegg.com, with a mid-tower case togehter should not be more than $140.

Depending on BO or C1 stepping code of your P4 2.4B. I have pushed BO to 2.9 and C1 to 3.24 Ghz @1.75 volt. Some board may require voltage mod to get over 1.7 volt. But, it is not difficult at all in P4.

Best of luck.
