Hi, I have a new 1.6a and I'm a little conserned with it's temps. The temps are:
Idle: 38'c (mb) and 48.5'c (cpu)
Under load: 45'c (mb) and 56'c (cpu)
Cpu isn't overclocked. Are these temps way too high?

they are just slightly high for a p4. My 1.7 ghz p4 idles at around 33c mb and 34c cpu.

Under load, the cpu doesn't go above 48c (and it only goes that high now since it's summer and i live in a desert). I set my intel temp monitoring program to warn me if the cpu reaches 50c, but i've never been warned about temps yet.

my case also has a thermostat...and it has validated the temp. monitoring program's results
