I play alot of games like UT2004, Warcraft 3, Counter Strike etc. I recently had a P4 3.0 Gig chip, 1 Gig ram, 128 mb ati aiw vid card. The P4 chip burnt out on me. So i decided to go with the Amd Athlon XP 3200 (barton), and the nvidia geforce fx 5700 256 mb card. Would this be equilavent or better than my previous system?

I think the chip was defective from the beginning. When I first installed the chip it was running at 65-69 degreees celcius. I have 6 fans in my pc and a thermaltake cpu fan. One day it just stopped working. When I tooke it out it was way 2 hot an stuck to the heatsink.

You probably should take a closer look @ that CPU fan too, can it still be trusted?

Ladies and Gentlemen
I present to you benchmark results from the most respected and trusted site on the web.

In here you will see that the P4's totally outperform any AMD crap on any level, when you bench them 'as is', the P4 2.8HT(that i have) clearly even outperforms the AMD 3200+ wich in pricing is very much the same. AMD Lovers - please don't go through the whole review or you will come out crying.
