I hope you don't tell me what i think I already know...
I just bought a d2 intel cpu and a mach speed mobo, i was installing the oc utility that machspeed provided and asked it to detect optimal settings for the speeds...
then my puter shut down, now i get no mobo response at all, no beeps, no signals, nothing on the screen at all
i took my HD and vid card out and tried on my old puter, they are ok
did i fry my mobo or cpu or both ?
ARGGGG!!!!!

LOL! Clear CMOS & try again. And do NOT use overclocking software...if you wanna overclock, do it the right way, thru the BIOS.

i tried to clear it, I followed the mobo instructions, seems to have no effect, even removed the MB battery for a few seconds to see if that would do it, any suggestions ?

You have to unplug the power cord or it will not clear.

OK, tried that with no affect
unplugged power cord
moved jumpers to "clear" pin 2&3
waited more than 5 sec
returned them back to "normal" pin 1&2
plugged it back in
........
nothing :(
my fans come on, power to the lan port, video card will warm up ect....,
but it will not display any of the starting bios info and no beeps either.
Restart button on the case has no affect
WTH ?
