No. All "Pentium 4" processors are single core.

It does have hyperthreading which is the next best thing to a dual core.

I found out my board supports Dual Core and didn't know if I already had one and didn't know it. Should I think about upgrading to a Dual Core my board can run or stick with what I have?

I don't have any issues with my current setup aside from overall heat coming from the case.

It depends. What do you do on your pc? Avg pc user that normamlly surfs the net and does light stuff that's not very demanding in performance all the time, will never take full advantage of a dual core.

If you do a lot of modern gaming, 3d rendering, video rendering then a dual core is optimal.

I fall in the Video game group althought I wouldn't consider WoW to be the most taxing game.

Then no you really don't need a dual core. WoW isn't a very demanding game and even though patch 2.01 supports dual core processors it isn't strongly recommended like other games out on the market. So you should be fine.

You would fall under the moderate gaming zone. You're not a light gamer as in you mostly play games that are 2D, but your not a heavy gamer where you mostly play 3D demanding games. You're in the moderate zone, you play 2D/3D games that aren't that demanding.

Like I said you're processor is fine for what you are doing. There isn't a need for you to get a dual core. You can always turn on hyperthreading which is the next best thing.

Besides if you have a Intel 945 or 975x motherboard the only resaonable option out there is to get a Pentuim D 925 @ 3ghz that is being sold for 59 dollars now. All the other Pentuims D's out there are extremly high priced now and wouldn't be worth it. Core 2 Duo's or Pentuim Dual Core based on the E series will not wok with 945 or 975x motherboards unless you have a reversion series that can support both those processors.
