Comment:

Started up my computer today, Asus P4T533-C with 3.06GHz with HT. BUT, BIOS says it's a 2.3GHz with no HT. Yet, upon bootup, I get CPU1, and CPU2, which means HT is recognized and enabled! Intel suggested I update BIOS, any OTHER suggestions? BTW, the mobo is set to JEN, and my hdd, WD1200JB, is also not recognized on primary master upon boot, but in BIOS, recognized perfectly. I'm confused....

I would Update the Bios.

Try wcpuid and see what that says about the fsb, HT, and multipilers first.
