I recently dug up my old computer parts and noticed I had two socket 370 CPUs. One of them is a Pentium 3, while the other is a Celeron. Which one, taking into account the specs, would run faster? Or would the performance virtually balance out? I know the difference in architecture, but I'm wondering if the specs are significantly enough different to put the celeron ahead on speed.

Celeron - 1.2GHz, 100MHz Bus Speed
PIII - 866MHz, 133MHz Bus Speed

We are Microsoft; resistance is futile.

I'm glad, because I just realized my motherboard fried the P3 when it died. That means when I finally get my replacement board, I'll have a faster CPU.
