Your temps are good. That cpu has a max temp of something like 85C, although over 60C could bring instability. If you set your motherboard auto shut off for 65C or 70C you should be fine. For an oc'd cpu instability could come at a lower temp. Your bios should show the correct cpu and system temp. The temps you have above are reversed - you'd think temp monitoring programs would know which sensor is which but they often don't.

To find out your true system cooling performance try running toast for 20 minutes. My machine idles at 43C and toast takes it to 51C. This will also tell you if your oc is stable since if you don't lock up running toast, you're pretty stable.

cpuidle is a neat piece of software that halts your cpu when it is idle, which is most of the time. It lowers t-bird temps especially, if you use the "C2" type cooling. The problem with it is that it will slow down some things (like watching videos for me), so you need to disable it once in a while. Other than that the affect on performance is negligble, and it can lower your cpu temp by 10C. When I use it and am just browsing, my cpu temp stays the same as my system temp.

your cpu can't be cooler then the motherboard. your temp monitoring software is reporting cpu and motherboard temps backwards
