Hello there
Ive been having problems with my Mobo eversince I bought it from ebay. I have a Soyo Dragon KT400 Ultra(Black edition) My Temps from that pc health status are I think way too high. I have one fan on the CPU itself with copper. The CPU fan is running at a constant 6026 RPM's I have the case open with a room fan blowing into the case. With that being said My temperatures are still running to high. They are as follows : CPU Temp. External 41 Celcius CHA Temperature is 23 Celcius and CPU Temp. On Die is running at 61 Celcius with the system in bios and no load. I have had so many error with this system its unreal. I have a Nvidia Geforece4 MX 420 in the AGP slot. Memmory i have 512 MB DDR 2700/2100 PC 333/266 and the processor that I have is an AMD Athalon XP 2000+ The system reads it as 1.67 Ghz. Last night I tried to Install windows XP like the millions of times i have in the past with errors. Usually around the device settings and Hit f8 to accept the aggrement thats where it usually Locks up. Getting muliple errors Like IRQL_not less or equal or Page file ran out or it just freezes up and have to reboot. Did that for hours last night Then decieded to give up. Then When i got up this morning I booted it up and it wen't through the Install process NO problem. Cold Fresh start so i decieded for myself that its having to deal with the Temp and overheating. I'm new to this mobo and there are Thousands of settings in the bios and don't know what settings are what and what the description of them are. I found this board by typing in "CPU Temp. On Die". Any suggestions about the Temp of the CPU or if this is normal and what can i do to bring it down? Fans don't work obviously

Thank you Cory

What do you mean by "CPU Temp. External"?
Do you attatch the thermal sensor to the heatsink or that is what you get from the motherboard sensor?

<<Memmory i have 512 MB DDR 2700/2100 PC 333/266>>

Are you using the two different speed memory? I'd look into your memory setting, which may cause the stability problem more than the temp. And, don't use different memory module, try using the PC2700 and see if you could run without error. Deal with the temp afterward (next thing).

The temp's are coming from the BIOS 'PC Health Status" and it shows power and voltage of AGP and CPU and such. As far as the memory I only have on slot filled out of the three slots. So i have one stick of ram at 512MB ram

My Athlon XP 2400+ 2.0 gHz runs at 30 degrees celcius when idle and only 36 degrees when under almost full load. Also did you buy the processor from ebay as well or just the Mobo? And if it's ever since you bought it from ebay don't you think you should maybe just have bought a new one. That problem might be why the guy on ebay sold it.
