overclocking xp1700 and unlocking

ok i have a question. i have a xp1700 asus a7v333 384mb pc 2100 ddr sdram radeon 9700 pro Would pc 2700LL ddr sdram make any change 2 overclocking as at the moment i top out at 156 fsb. Could this be the slower ram? when i try 2 change the multiplier it makes no change so i have 2 up the fsb. How do you unlock it? oh also on 3dmark 2001 it says my procceser is at 1.610 mhz but it say its max is 1.76! does this mean this is the real speed for it as i have read before that sometimes they knock down the speed's 2 get rid of old stock if the other is selling. Any help would be great. Cheers :D
