The X2 4200+ has similar performance to a 3500+ Venice, except in applications that benefit from dual core. Overclock the same as you would any other A64....
Lower the HT multi to 4x, raise the CPU frequency, adjust the CPU:DRAM ratio to prevent the RAM from going too much above 200MHz (assuming you have PC3200), disable Spread Spectrum, lock the PCI-E at 100MHz...& adjust voltages & RAM timings as necessary to stabilize

Hey did you find how to over clock. I have a ASUS A8N-SLI DELUXE motherboard, an AMD X2 4200 CPU, and 2 Gigs of OCZ DDR 500. If you find out what your bios specs are set at after you get it overclocked please tell me. You can also contact me at spider_dude1989@yahoo.com

hi its sidney i have changed to x4 and altered cpu freq to 220 but what are the other settings jam is on about and i do have pc 3200
