k, This is where you post your overclocking results (CPU only). I love to see overclocking results becuase it tells you which processes are good and what you can expect when overclocking. So post your overclocking results on any CPU you have overclocked. the more people who add to the results the better. After 3 Days i'll be posting a message to show a neat layout of all the results.
Have Fun Showing Off Your Results!!!

See below... :0).
Abit NF7s V2.0 Mobo
Radeon 9800xt 256mb,
AMD 2500xp mobile CPU @208x12.5 = 2610ghz,
Antec True 550w psu,
2X512 xms corsair Pc3500 in dual channel,
Twin 10k Raptors (raided)
waterchill cooled..

The secret of overclocking is to find a core that's sold at a wide frequency range and has been in production for a reasonably long time. The manufacturer is probably making cores that can run at the fastest speed they sell, and simply underclocking to fill the low-end demand. Then you buy the cheapest CPU with that core and clock it to at least the same speed as the fastest model they sell.
Overclocking Freak's XP 2500 is the slowest Barton AMD sells but probably could have been sold as a 3200, the fastest. My Newcastle Athon 64 2800 (slowest, again) started at 1.8GHz but runs perfectly well at 2.4GHz (same speed as the 3400) with retail HS&F. If I got better cooling and raised the voltage, I'm sure I could get more out of my CPU.

Athlon 2000 overclocked to 154 MHz core, runs stable.
Now at 150MHz core.
256MB 333FSB DDR.
Stock HSF. No thermal glue. Cabinet side panel taken off.
Temp below 40C idle.
Good Luck and Happy Computing,

Athlon 2000XP +

make me do the maths with that 150Mhz FSB, ok 12.5 x 150 = 1875Mhz better than my athlon ok, i need more posts
"PLEASE POST MORE RESULTS"
Athlon XP 2000+ 1674mhz

I don't shoot so much for max CPU speed, as much as max stable FSB.
I'm currently running my 1800+ tbred (1533mhz) at 1680mhz (8 x 210) w/PC3200
My 1.33 tbird is running at 1540mhz (11 x 140) w/PC133
My 1200 Duron morgan is running at 1344mhz (12 x 112) w/PC100
I never had great success with the AMD K6-2, although I've "reclocked" 450s to run at 4 x 112, or 500s to run at 4.5 x 112.
I regularly overclock old Pentium 166/200 MMX CPUs to either 225 (3 x 75) or 233mhz (3.5 x 66)...some will even do 266mhz (3.5 x 75)
Asus A7N8X-X
1800+ @8x210mhz
512mb PC3200
Ti4200/8X 128mb
WDC 60GB

See my sig.
I also had my xp2400+ running @ 200x11
Tt Lanfire
nf7-s v2.0
XP-m 2500@209x11
SP 97
512mb pc3200
Jou Jye 550w psu
FX5600
WDCaviar 160gb sata;~}

Well,
Best I can come up with right now is:
P60 at 66Mhz
P75 at 100Mhz
PII-233 at 291Mhz (83x3.5)
and my 2400+ at 2130Mhz (142x15)None of this is very exciting but, I just can't help myself.

Hello skip,
not exciting? You have 2 P1 and its not exciting?
You own one of the earliest models of a family of CPUs that created a moderen revolution for mankind...
With the advent of the pentiums the PCs began to get into homes atleast in my part of the world...
Office work, entertainment, staying in touch all took newer meanings...
I know am going off topic, but I'am sure you own them with more pride than what u have for your athlon :)
Good Luck and Happy Computing,

Mine's for the most part from a seasonal perspective: Athlon XP-M 2600+ on NF7-S (2.0)
2.53Ghz @ (220x11.5) for winter/cold season.
2.42Ghz @ (200x11.0) at any other time.-- Always do what you are afraid to do --

To be completely honest, if I could find a way to overclock the 386-16 or the 486DX-50 they'd be a few Mhz faster too.
