Comment: Has anyone overclocked this cpu? If so what did you get it to? I have it overclocked to 75 * 3 = 225 I had it overclocked to 66 * 3.5 = 233 I have not even increased the voltage yet! and it runs stable Would it hert the cpu if I whent any farther?

Reply: (edit)You may be able to get some more out of it...all you can do is try. It depends on your mobo & what settings you have available. 166MMXs vary in overclockability quite a bit. Some 166MMXs were actually 233MMXs in disguise...so 266 is another possibility (3.5 x 75). I've found 225 (3 x 75) to work best & have setup several of them that way. It's better than 233 because of the higher FSB...& you'll never notice the 8 mhz difference in CPU speed. What chipset is on your board? I see you're running 96mb of RAM. If you have an older chipset that only caches 64mb of memory, that extra 32mb may actually be slowing you down, depending on what you use your machine for. Reply: (edit)try to hit delete key before the windows start and find for somthing inside the bios find something about the processor and change the X value dont change too much so will you burn your CPU. Sorry but i dont know the kind of BIOS you have so I cant tell you the step and i did it just one time
