Comment: im curious as to how i can overclock my sdram if its possible. i dont want to change anything in the bios until i know what im doin. the sdram cas latency is 3T, sdrclk control is -1.0, sdwclk control cs#/cke is +2.0ns, sdwclk control ma/sras is +0.5ns, sdwclk control hi dqm/md is +1.0ns, and the sdwclk control lo dqm/md is +1.5ns. all of this is on an ecs k7sem mobo ver 3.0a and all the settings are at the default values, with generic memory.(i think, i cant see a name on it). any input on how this can be changed to help me out would be appreciated. If i missed some info let me know. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)to overclock pc100 or pc133 ram in otherwords to overclock sdram change your FSB in bios it'll be under CPU/Frequency mostlikly but this usually causes system instability because sdram sucks ass no offense of course

Reply: (edit)I doubt that you will be able to overclock the RAM since you don't have the option to do that in your motherboard. And besides SDRAM is very unstable when it is overclocked but to increase the performance you can change the cas latency from 3.0 to 2.5 and check for stability and if everything is working fine then try changing the cas latency to 2.0 if possible. This can be considered as overclocking but i don't know because you are not running at higher MHZ. Try that and you should see some performance difference.
