I have a HP Vectra VL400 socket 370. I have upgraded as far as i can (at least the fastest P3 anyone around here has) to a 1.0GHz Pentium 3. The bios and motherboard for no FSB increasing settings, are there any programs that i can use to overclock it? i have a high speed fan and heat sink. also is there a faster Pentium 3 and where could i get it? I also plan on upgrading to 512mb RAM.

well there is this 1.4 gig p3 they wore the last p3s made b4 the p4 came out so this is the best speed that you can buy for the p3 line

and it would be more ideal for OCing so good luck
MSI PT8 Neo
P4 3.0 @200*15
1 gig pc3200
nVidia FX5950 Ultra
Audigy 2
WD SATA 80gig x 3

also 1 more thing this is one of the few p3 on the .13 system witch would make it much easier so your OC with a good geadsink you wight get it up to 1.6 to 1.7 gig
MSI PT8 Neo
P4 3.0 @200*15
1 gig pc3200
nVidia FX5950 Ultra
Audigy 2
WD SATA 80gig x 3

One important thing about the Pentium3
There are two different versions who need a different socket. They are both names socket370 but the older one is FCPGA and the newer ones are FCPGA2. A FCPGA2 CPU will not work on a FCPGA socket but I'm not sure about the other way around!
The last FCPGA CPUs had a coppermine core and ran up to 1,1GHz and the FCPGA2 CPUs had a tualatin core which started from 1GHz!
