if your mobo only supports upto 3.2gig, I dont know if it will take any overclocking cos your cpu already max's out the board.I may be wrong though.

All you need to do is go into the BIOS, raise your FSB, save your setting, reboot, & test for stability. Do it in small increments...5mhz at a time.

Your multiplier is locked at 16x & can't be changed, so to hit to 3.6ghz mark, you're gonna have to get the FSB up to 225mhz. You're RAM could be a limiting factor...you really should have PC3500 or better. PC3200 may not be able to handle running at that speed, unless you run async rather than n'sync.

CPU & RAM voltage may have to be increased too, but see how high you can go with default voltages first.

Asus A7N8X-X
1800+ @8x210mhz
512mb PC3200
Ti4200/8X 128mb
WDC 60GB

async is running fsb and memory at different speeds

your stock fsb is 200 mhz ( quad pumped to 800 )

pc3200 memory runs at 200 mhz ( 400 mhz DDR )

in my experimenting, since i only have pc3200 memory, here's one example, i set the bios to a 5:4 ratio and the resulting speeds were fsb=225 memory=180...running it that way is not the way to go, even though it was prime stable and got some good benchmarks, except for the memory where i took a huge hit.

Abit AS8 LGA775 2.8 Prescott
512 Corsair XMS PC3200
128 meg Radeon 9800 Pro
DUAL 36 GIG WD Raptors
DUAL 21 in. ( 19.8 viewable ) Sony Trinitrons
3+ Mbps cable connection
