If you have ATI Tool, what's the problem? Don't you know how to use it? After you find the Max Core & the Max Mem, then you can experiment with the different settings in between. I'm not at my machine right now so I can check the ATI log, but I think my Core maxed at 460MHz before encountering artifacts...& the memory maxed at about 270MHz. I would never run it that high though. I've been keeping it at 333/233 & it seems to be fine. I've done some benchtesting at different settings using 3DMark03 & AquaMark3 & the difference over the default setting is significant.

Ok But Heres The Probem
When I Looked At The Log... Every It It started
It Said: Temperature monitoring: not supported
Soo If I Run the Test It Well Go For Ever And It Will Kill My video Card......
becuase It Happen To My Dad's Video Card...

So Where Can i Get The Verson Where It monitors
The Temperature....

I Tryed The Beta But. When I Overclock It Alitte.. The Screen Went Blank And It when it Came Back on. Alittle Window Poped up and said: Boot Failer.
And The Screen when To 600x800
And It's on 1-bit... And I Had TO Boot It 5 Times So the Video Card Well Work...

"So Where Can i Get The Verson Where It monitors The Temperature...."

Why do you use caps so much? It's annoying! As for the above question...if the board doesn't support temp monitoring, there's nothing you can do about it, unless you wanna buy & install your own temp sensor.

The GPU used on the 9550 is the exact same one that's used on the 9600 & 9600Pro. The default speed for the 9600 is 325MHz, & for the 9600Pro it's 400MHz. ATI built an overclocking "lock" into it's Catalyst drivers, but you can work around that with ATiTOOL or you can do a BIOS mod:

http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/107

If you copy the number off one of the memory chips on your card, then do a search, you may find out what the default speed is...then you'll know if the RAM is underclocked or not. My card uses HYNIX HY5DU281622ET-5 which is designed for 200MHz (DDR400), so I obviously can't push it as far as I could if it was designed for 250MHz (DDR500).

Just to give you an idea of my results, here's what I got running 3DMark03

250/200MHz = 2240
333/233MHz = 2795
400/233MHz = 3081

Tom's Hardware got a score of 2518 with a Radeon 9600 (325/200MHz) on a rig with better specs than mine:

well, your cpu and mem speed doesn't pull of too high. My VGAcard is Abit R9550XTurbo-Guru. Set it onto Turbo mode, i could push it to
525/325Mhz with atitool 0.0.23.

Hey Fel,

Next time you use AtiTool, click on "settings" & see what it says for Chip Type. Is it RV350 or RV360?

it's kinda confusing, if i set my video card to Normal mode, the reading in ATI Tools says my card has RV350 chip type, but if i set it to Turbo mode, the readings says RV 360.
