I want to know how much I can overclock the 2.4A GHz Pentium 4 processor (Prescott) which is FSB 533.

Here's my current specs and overclocking configuration:

Motherboard: P4PE-X/TE Rev. 2
Max FSB is 800 MHz such that today is 700 MHz
CPU core is clocked 175 MHz x 18 = 3.15 GHz
RAM is DDR 400 (200 MHz) but today is 170 MHz
FSB:RAS Ratio is 1:1 (2.5-3-3-7)
Memory capacity is 512 MB.

My system is very stable and Asus Probe tells me that the max speed of my CPU is 3200 MHz. Can I overclock more? : )

Also, the temperature is slightly increased than the regular non-OC'ed Prescott.

Non-OC'ed temperature under non-airconditioned room: 47 - 63 C
Mobo: 30 C

OVERCLOCKED temperature under non-airconditioned room: 49 - 60 C
Mobo: 37 C

Location: Davao City ,Philippines

Overclocking is not an exact science, it requires experience, trial and errors and some luck.

For starters here's what you'll need, a board that allows you to tune the FSB, voltage, ram timings and also lock the PCI/AGP bus.

Do not type anything in this space.
