i just bought a emachines computer a couple of days ago i was wondering how could i overclock it.it has an intel celeron 2.6ghz. and the motherboard is a trigem imperial.

Celeron 2.6 should be very good for overclocking. My 2.0 is running at 3ghz with only 1.550 vcore.
The bad part is you cannot overclock your eMachine. Why!! you ask. Because;
1) Overclocker are system builders most of the time.... they don't buy system that is dictated by the factory. And, they will never settle for onboard graphic and sound.
2) People who buy Compaq, HP, eMachine, Sony, Gateway etc. are not familiar with computer hardwares (they may well be doing a lot of codings in Java, C++ and good at them) and overclocking is not their cup of tea.
3) Companies don't want to give you the warranty when you mess things up.

if your emachine works OK, just leave it alone. It is very hard to make one better & very easy to make it break. Don't expect to add fast video cards or O/C or anything else. Do expect to need a new PSU in a year or so.
if you want to upgrade this machine, take it back ASAP. buy a generic computer.
