I just bought my PC with great settings, but I would like to overclock my pentium 2.26 GHz. I have the Intel 845GBV motherboard, but found no documentation on how to overclock it through software or hardware. I need to change the jumper settings or change the FSB throught software. Did anyone manage to overclock a intel 845 motherboard? I really want to get the best out of this PC. Thank you.

You can't overclock an intel mobo using BIOS. Try a software like softFSB

Intel boards are not overclockable.....No software is going to let you overclock a intel board.

intel works to prevent people from overclocking their stuff...that's why p4's have locked multipliers
i did see a post where someone claimed that they overclocked an i845, but i doubt that happened
it was in an overclocker's forum...but everyone else with that mobo wasn't overclocked

I did manage to overclock a intel 440BX motherboard using a FSB software. Doesn't the intel 845GBV have jumper settings on the motherboard that you can play around with to make it faster?
