Overclocking i5 760 and 1333mhz 4gb RAM

Specs: N/A
Partnered with a intel i5 760, MSI P55A G55 and a MSI6870. Isit possible to oc to 3.5ghz to 4.0 ghz if inclusive of a coolermaster 212+1 extra CM fan??
Wonder if my 1333mhz ram would hinder ocing? Btw it's on win7

4ghz is pushin it when your not water cooling it. And why didnt you get 1600mhz ram? did your motherboard not support it?

RAM has nothing to do with it. The performance difference between DDR3-1333 & DDR3-1600 is minor. It's not worth the extra money, especially if it has a higher latency.

I over clocked my I7 to 4.9Ghz Liquid cooled It runs at about 112* Degrees Its insane!

Read this concise guide:
It should help you a lot. Go slowly, optimize it, then bring up the speed gradually while watching the temperatures (Speedfan) If the temperatures rise too sharply, either back down a little or get a better CPU cooler. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
