compaqs are poor quality computer at best. they have no overclocking features and often little or no upgrade possibilities.
if you want to try, then find out if you can raise the bus speed, but don't bet on it

I wouldn't try it. The case is very, very small and cramped inside (I know I have the exact same one) and there is only a passive heatsink (no fan) and there is no room nor the power capacity to add one (250w psu I think). If you are overclocking because XP is too slow (mine was to I still have the original 96mb RAM) it is better to tweak the software rather than hardware in this case. Mine is stock except for a Voodoo 3 2000 16mb PCI video card and runs just fine in a tweaked XP environment. My only problem is the 8.4GB Hard Drive, I want to find a bigger one the only problem is I can only have a 5.25. because I got mine with a ZIP drive(no room left for a 5.25-3.5 adapter).
