i need help overclocking my celeron d. when i got into the bios and try to change the fsb it says its locked what can or should i do

Here is the grim reminder, No matter how high you overclock your celeron you will not see any huge improvement. It's almost a waste of time. Budget processors are not good overclockers thanks in part to their smaller L2 cache.

You might see a small increase if you overclock it 600mhz faster then the defualt speed buyt you are not going to see anything big like you would with a Pentium 4 or Athlon 64.

um i have a newer SiS board (i know they r bad for oc but i was a dum @$$ and bought 1 any way. what is better p4 3 ghz or athlon 64 2.4 ghz (3200)
