there is a tad more to it than that. do yourself a favor and research it before you burn your system up. don't just ask a broad question and follow what people "tell" you to do, you need to read up and "know" what you are doing.

OK here we go. In your BIOS you should see some menu like frequencies and voltage. Then you should see about 3 other things in th menu, there should be only one with numbers on it either 100 or 133 -could be anything between them. Then I would adivse you find out what your multiplyer is -proberly 5.5(100) or 7 (133)- this is a MUST. Then adjust these number -the 100 133 bit- I would advise by one each time just to avoid any boot problems, there is a risk that your computer wont even boot in to bios if you get greedy - I dont quite know wether you'll get to 800 this way- the problem with this is that not only does it speed up your CPU it also speed ups any pci device you have -problems like this are not really serious and generally dont effect decent types of cards ie sound blaster 128- Now if your PC fails to boot into your BIOS you need to take your PC cover off so you can gain acess to the motherboard and you should see something called a CMOS jumper -to the right of the battery- they face [][][] like that -there maybe one two or three- never five DO NOT touch any think if your not sure, you could accidently change your CPU multiplyer fine if the CPU is unlocked but I wouldnt risk it. Safe temperatures are about 80-90 celsius. Feel free to e-mail if you need any more help.

Ali,
I think Matt really provided some help. I just wanna remind you that most of the time the overclocking limits of a processor are about +10% of the original frequency. In your case my friend you can speed it up to 770 MHz or so. Just beware of that.
Good luck

Be extremely careful. Number 1, is it an Intel Pentium 3 Coppermine CPU? (Mine for example:Intel Pentium III Coppermine 733EB
133Mhz FSB 256k)The EB(coppermine are acctually overpriced Celerons) designation means the CPU has a fixed clock rate and is not configurable to any other rate. If you try to overclock a coppermine it will last 2 hours and burn out. I suggest if you are not sure that you get the CPU identification code (stamped somewhere on the CPU) and verify it at Intel.com. Also if you try to overclock it before verifying this and it burns up and then you try to get an exchange from Intel, they will do a diagnostic test on the old CPU to find out why it went bad. If they determined from the test that you overclocked your CPU, then your warranty on that CPU will be null and void, hence, no refund, no exchange. IT PAYS TO RESEARCH!!!

Don't listen to most of this stuff cause most people that know anything about processors will tell you that a p3 700 coppermine can be overclocked to 965mhz easily with a littel extra cooling.
