I have an AMD Athelon 1700+ 1.47GHz, 1.12GB of RAM. Manufactured by DFI. How do I overclock it so I get faster performance from it? I'm not exactly a computer wiz, so please be gentle.

More system details required.

What mobo,ram type(2700,3200?),psu etc.

If you have a AXDA1700DLT3C JIUHB 0319 or 0310 then you may have a top overclocker?

People used to get them running at 2.7ghz(very good cooling).

Yes, the MoBo is a DFI AK75. I have the older SDR RAM, not the newer DDR RAM. If I could figure out where I put the manual, then this would probably be alot easier and I'd be able to give you more info.

Thanks

Well, thanks, everyone. I know exactly what I knew before I requested some help, which is doodly-squat. Thanks for the try, though.
