Hello,
Im new in overclocking.
I have read these forums and i have downloaded couple programs (cpuz and clockgen) and now i have no idea how much i should overclock!
My mobo is:
Asus K8VSEDX
Chipset:
K8T800 (VT8383)
I want best performance and best quality! :D

If i have to O/C my videocard here it is. Details:
Ati Radeon 9600 series 128M.
Im not sure about that 128M coz Display properties say 128M but BIOS says 256M? But i think that i have changed that 256M in BIOS :p

If you guys suggest to expand my computer go ahead! And tell me how! :D

I don't know about your video card so much, other than the BIOS setting is something different than your onboard video RAM. It's probably actually the AGP "aperture," and I think it has to do with the card using system RAM in high-end graphics situtations (think CAD, not games).

For the CPU, you'll have to tell us which core you have, and if the K8T800 is the Pro version. Pro will overclock well, non-pro not much at all. A Winchester core will have some headroom, I'm not sure about Clawhammer, and if it's a Newcastle, you have the same silicon as my 2800 (sold at 1.8GHz) running at 2.4GHz (like the 3400s) and will need fancy cooling to overclock.

Don't worry if you have changed it in your BIOS to aperture size of 256MB. The usual choices are 64MB, 128MB or 256MB. The worst that can happen if you have pushed it too high is that you will have probs with games etc. especially fast graphic games. If you do, just take it back to 128MB or even 64MB aperture size, you will not harm your card, it will only give what it can and freak out if you try to push it too hard.
