Subject: Overclocking AMD 1600 on K7S5A m/b

Comment: Just curious what the easiest and safest way is to overclock my AMD 1600 athlon. I have a K7S5A Motherboard. I have tried looking at my bios settings and increasing the volts, however, I am unable to change the amount of volts (my bios will not allow me to change it). I run a bus speed at 133 megahertz.

Reply: (edit)I've read of an overclocking BIOS for this mobo by CHEEPOMAN...if it's not mentioned at the site posted above by 666, do a search...there's plenty of info out there about it... Reply: (edit)I did a post earlier with me Overclocking my 1900xp on a K7S5A, The Cheepoman bios works :) I'm now running at 150/150 which basicaly is an extra 200Mhz, from 1600mhz to 1800mhz. XP terms = 1900XP to 2138XP :O)
