I need some advice on how I should overclock my system. My mainboard is a ViaP4PB AGP 8X and 533MHz FSB Intel Pentium4@2.4 CorsairDDR333DIMMM. Via Flightdeck is the onboard overclock program I want to use.The name of the overcloker is called JETSTREAM. I can select what fsb speed I want but I can't change the processor speed. The CPU RATIO is set at 18 and the program, by default, will not allow any changes in that area. I was told by a Via support tech was that the cpu could not be increased due to a pentium4 safety protocall. Is that true and what are safe settings for the overclocking and the voltage? Thanks and please reply only if you have had firsthand knowledge>don't want to do any unnessecary damage:)

Since overclocking incorrectly ~can~ potentially cause damage, and your system is already SCHWEEEET, why risk it?

Bump your RAM to 512meg and be happy with what you have! :)

FSB (Front Side Bus) x Multiplier = processor frequency. you can bumb up the FSB bit my bit and run a Program like CPU Burn In to test it. Read up on overclocking before you attemt to do so, I would hate to see you F up that 2.4Ghz P4.
