Overclocking a store bought PC

Acer / Aspire m3201
July 11, 2009 at 13:40:30
Specs: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate, 2.5 GHz / 3967 MB
I was wondering if it was possible to overclock a store bought PC.
I went into the BIOS and those options was grayed out, is there a site that offers after-market bios for computers and what not?

This is my motherboard:
Manufacturer Acer
Model RS780HVF

Try overclocking software. But don't get your hopes up.

3967mb? does this mean you have 32mb allocated to the onboard graphics and, your running windows 7? No wonder you want to overclock. Try increasing it to 256mb, or higher if possible.
