Comment: Can anyone help me out with overclocking the ASUS P4S533 as this is what board i have and could do with some advice from someone that has allready done it. I have the P4 2.4b C1 stepper and it is overclocked to 2.8 and it falls over every now and then can anyone help with other settings in the BIOS i can change to help stop this such as the CPU voltage. or any other advice they can give me. I have installed new fans in my case and the CPU is running at 31c idle and the m/b is 28c idle after benching or alot of gaming it goes up cpu 40c and m/b 33c If anyone out there likes Battle Field 1942 vist my site at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/john.helyar/ Let me know what you think

Reply: (edit)What do you mean by it 'falls over every now and then'? If it's not stable at 2.8ghz you can trying increasing the voltage up in small increments until you hit max (which is 1.7V on your board I think without messing around with jumpers). Your temperatures are quite good, so heat isn't your problem. The 'B' chips with 533FSB (133x4) are just harder to overclock and some chips just can't handle the speed.
