I'm currently overclocking a P3 600Mhz to 800Mhz by altering the FSB speed in the BIOS. I have been running the system for a long time like this, and the temperature doesn't increase any higher than it did when I was running it at 600Mhz. After a couple of hours, it reaches about 40 degrees but no higher than that.

Does this mean I could overclock it further?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm sure it could do a little more.

I think you could overclock to 1Ghz without any problems. Maybe even more if you add artic silver.

yea if the FSB can go higher go a head , but if you got problemms going higher lower you cpu clock then raise the FSB again.

Higher your FSB higher(Faster) your memory , AGP ,PCI ...will go & increasing the Vcore can help to but only one step at the time.

BTW:It's not a bad overclock for a 600 mhz
