Overclocking a Geforce 3 Ti500

System spec. - AMD Athlon XP 1600+ - 256mb DDR ram - 40Gb HD - geforce 3 Ti500 - Asus 8k7!?! motherboard.
I would like to overclock my geforce 3, i have heard that it is possible and that a software patch can be downloaded to do so. But i have not been able to find any information on this patch or on how to do it.
if anyone could advise me on where to look or have any instructions about how to overclock the card, i would be very apperciative!

If you overclock it, make sure you can cool it, they run hot already, overclocking it is going to creat a furnace. My hercules 3D prophet ti500 was so hot that it unstablized my system, and i had to get a pci slot fan to help cooling

i have a geforce 3 and i use a program called "Geforce Tweak Utility". Download the Detonator drivers from Nvidia and you can use this program to do everything you can think of, even overclocking your GPU. You can get this utility from voodoofiles.com
