Hi i need help on over clocking a p4 2.0 socket 423. My mobo is a D850GB intel. im a newbie so could you go step by step?
but then again, there is no pci/agp lock on those intel boards and if you can get a soft overclock, it won't be much...not worth it

Do the math. P4 2.0GHz is clocked at 20 x 100MHz. The max safe FSB would be 112MHz. This will keep the PCI/AGP within reason. If you try to raise the FSB higher than that, all bets are off. 20 x 112MHz = 2240MHz (2.24GHz). That equates to a 12% overclock. Is it worth it? Mmmmm, could be....
