Hey, could someone give me a hand (step by step procedure) on how to overclock my AMD XP 2400? My system consists of: SOYO SY-K7MP2 MOBO, AMD XP 2400 CPU, 420W power p/s, 1024mb PC 2700 ram, FX 5200 128mb vid card. Thanks

first thing i would look for are jumpers. not familiar with board, as i use asus, and nothing but amd. look for jupers on mboard labeled fsb. thats where your front side bus speed is set. try changing config of sequence. but remember where they were. reboot and check speed. or, u need to adjust fsb in bios. carefull of how hi u set. overheating will happen
