Hi. I have an ASUS A7V-333 motherboard and I am ready to overclock my CPU but I'm not sure how to approch this. Would someone kindly help me? Thanks

I believe that unless you have an "unlocked" XP1900, you will only bbe able to modify the FSB and not the multiplier. Increase the FSB above the default in small steps until your PC won't boot and then back off that setting by a couple steps. Also, you may have to adjust your RAM setting in your BIOS slightly to compensate for the increased FSB. You may also have to increase your VCORE voltage slightly.
CHeck out this link for unlocking your proc.

One thing you must remember, for the love of your cpu man! Download a program like motherboard monitor, and set it up to correctly monitor your temps before you starting messing with your fsb or clock multiplier. This way, once you do successfully boot, you can check out how hot your chip gets under stress by running a processor intensive program and make sure that it doesn't even get close to dangerous temps.
