Need to know the model number of your motherboard, what type/speed RAM you're running, which version of the 2400+ you have (Tbred or Thorton) & it wouldn't hurt to know your power supply specs. I wouldn't expect much on an overclock though. i have a GA-7VAXP main board it has a A socket and is currently holding a AMD ATHLON XP 2400+ CPU the bus speed is 134.0Mhz and FSB is around 267.0Mhz The multiplier is X15.0 RAM DDRPC3200 1024MB DRAM Frequency 167.3Mhz FSB : DRAM FSB + 33Mhz 420Watt Trust Low Noise PSU Its is a TBRED and i already have cpuz which is what i am using :)

Increase the CPU frquency from 133MHz to 140MHz & lower the RAM setting from FSB+33 to FSB. Disable all Spread Spectrum settings & tighten up on your RAM timings. Get the timings from CPUZ / SPD tab. Use the numbers from the Timings Table listed under 133MHz. That'll put the CPU at 2.1GHz, CPU:DRAM will run 1:1 ratio & you *should* be able to run the RAM at CAS 2.
