Overclocking 2.4 ghz Celeron

Comment:
I am trying to over clock my 2.4 Celeron on My Matsonic 9337c+ MB with the via sis chipset. My Bios has a pretty nice OC interface, but I'm not sure what else to do besides gradually increasing the CPU frequency until system instability. How do I change the values for other hardware correspondingly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Generally speaking, boards based on SiS chipsets suck.
Depending on what options are in your BIOS:
- lock the PCI bus at 33MHz** - lock the AGP bus at 66MHz** - disable all Spread Spectrum settings - set the CPU:DRAM ratio at 1:1 - increase the FSB a little at a time - increase the CPU voltage only if necessary
** if you can't lock the PCI/AGP, your FSB will be limited. If you have a 100MHz (400FSB) CPU, the max safe FSB will be 112MHz...if you have a 133MHz (533FSB) CPU, the max will be 150MHz.
