I have an athlon 1700+ and I've oc'd it to about 1.7ghz and the temp. is 35. Vcore is at 1.825 and it runs fine. However if I oc it anymore, and increase the voltage it almost always freezes in windows or just hangs and will not boot. I had a 300 watt psu and my friend gave me his antec 350 psu. And I still have the same problem. I know thats not much of an increase but.... I figured it should help some. Is this a problem with my psu or maybe my ram? The -12v sometimes goes to -13. are you running a 1:1 ratio on the fsb and memory? ( fsb is 180 and memory is at 180 at the same time ) if so, your memory looks like the most likely problem... what's the stock vcore to the 1700? i have the 2500+ and can raise my fsb to 200 with stock vcore of 1.65 and run in sync with memory, which is 512 of pc3200 on the same motherboard as you

stock vcore is 1.75 memory isn't 1:1 I kept it down to asround 266 I can overclock with stock vcore to about 154 then the highesrt I can get fro increasing it to anything is vabout 157-58
