Comment: How do I overclock my Voodoo 3 2000 PCI video card that is 16mb? What do I need to download to do this? I am using Windows XP Home and the system is a 400mhz Pentium 2 MMX with 512mb ram and 10 gig hard drive.

Reply: (edit)The answer to both your posts is "don't waste your time". HP systems are not overclockable without software. And even if you can succesfully O/C your CPU, you're not gonna notice any difference going from 400MHz to 448MHz, which would be about the safe limit. And if you overclock your old VooDoo card, you'll be lucky to see a 2FPS increase. It's not worth it.

Reply: (edit)I wouldn't bother. Just throw in a PCI GeForce 2MX. Very, very, very cheap, (like $12) and much faster than a Voodoo2. My Super P3: Pentium III-S 1.4GHz @ 1.58GHz, 512K L2 X800XT All-in-wonder, overclocked to 580/600. 250GB HD 2 gigs of PC2100 RAM QDI Advance 12 mobo, this baby rocks! SB Audigy 2
