i would like to overclock my cpu, memory, and video card. i was wondering what would the best settings be for my computer as of what i have now. i would like to keep my cpu frequency at 240 and my multiplier at x11. here are my current settings for my cpu, memory, and video card. We have no idea which CPU you have, which board, which RAM, which video card, etc. Post your system specs.

i forgot to mention what i have an asus a8n sli premium motherboard, an amd athlon 64 3500+ venice S939, 2gb of pc3200 ddr400 simpletech ram, and a nvidia geforce 6600 gt.

On the one hand you state you would like to overclock your CPU, memory & graphics card. But on the other hand you also state "i would like to keep my cpu frequency at 240 and my multiplier at x11" -- which just so happen to be your current setting for the CPU based on your other statement. So, what gives - huh?

1st of all, why limit the CPU freq to 240MHz? IMO, you should go for at least 250MHz. And why is your "Memclock index value" set to 266? With the CPU freq at 240MHz & the RAM set at 266, the resulting RAM freq would be approx 155MHz (DDR310). If you set it to 333, the resulting RAM freq would be approx 188MHz (DDR376). If you set the CPU freq to 250MHz & set the "Memclock index value" to 333, the CPU would run at 2.75GHz & the RAM would then run at approx 196MHz (DDR392). ******************************** Your RAM timings are awfully loose...you should tighten them up for better peformance. i like to keep it at 2.64ghz, at default it runs at 2.21ghz. those were the only two things i turned up cpu frequency and multiplier to get 2.64ghz. and i was just wondering about my other settings maybe change them so it can run better with that 2.64ghz i dont know thats why im asking if i should change anything else to make it better. i dont really wanna push it too much so thats why i want it at 2.64ghz. for the memory index value i didnt set it like that it was like that already also for the video card, i am posting what i see only and what it says i didnt change anything else. i remember seeing the memory clock at 1ghz but now its at 2ghz i dont know why i didnt touch anything somehow it was just like that and i also defaulted it still at 2.0ghz.

"i like to keep it at 2.64ghz...." I don't think you are going to get it *significantly* any higher than that anyhow. So if you can implement the fine-tuning suggested by jam, then that's great.
