We need to know exactly which Core 2 Duo you have & the make/model of your motherboard. The RAM is gonna hold you back, especially since you've mixed DDR2-667 with DDR2-800. And even if you do successfully pull off the CPU/RAM overclock, it won't make up for the fact that you have a crappy video card. I'm sure you'll defend it & say it works fine, but if you were to spend some time with a system that has a 'real' gaming video card, you'd know the difference.

This line from a review of the X1550 says it all: "Playing the latest games is definitely a no-go, but for a child's first computer, this card would not be a bad start."

Enjoy.

OK, that's one of the lower end C2D Allendales that only runs at 800MHz FSB.

Could it be D946GZIS?

Unfortunately you have an Intel board. The vast majority of Intel boards are NOT overclockable thru the BIOS - your board is no exception. You could try the software approach but I don't recommend it. If anything, get yourself a decent P45 based motherboard, dump the DDR2-667 in favor of DDR2-800, then you could easily overclock your CPU to 2.8 - 3.0GHz at 1600MHz FSB (the higher the FSB, the better the performance). But as it sits, you're stuck in the mud with your configuration.
