Hello, I have a Dell XPS 420, with Intel Core 2
Quad Q6600 running at 2.4GHz, I need to
overclock so i could run a game of mine, but I
cant seem to find out how! Ive seen guides on
how to do it in the BIOS, but they all say,
when in BIOS, hit DEL, when i do, nothing
happens! I need some help!P.S. I don't know if this matters, but I have
overclocked my nVidia GeForce 8600 GTS.

Well excuse me for misreading your post.
Maybe you should try working on your search skills because I found the answer in less than a minute.
The XPS 420 is NOToverclockable via the BIOS!
Here's a clip from a review:
"Curiously, unlike other XPS systems there are no options in the BIOS for overclocking -- possibly due to the refocused target group, but still a sad omission nonetheless"
And by "target group", Dell means the "Creative Class" -- "artists, designers, film-makers, producers, architects, builders, engineers, scientists, professors".

Ya, I found SetFSB, but I cant find the clock generator, my motherboard doesnt have a chip with it on it. Any ideas?

Your motherboard HAS to have a clock generator, you just haven't found it. Regardless, you're wasting your time on a Dell. Just run the default settings, max out the RAM & get a decent gaming video card.

Jam is right. It's your graphics card that is really holding you back. You need to buy either at least a Geforce 9800 series or Radeon 4800 series if you are truly going to game. You could overclock that processor to 4ghz but it isn't going to help you much when your graphics card is holding you back.
