how much can i push my geforce2 mx400 to before it burns?its core shd be ard 200mhz and there's another about memory which i dun understand.i tried pushing to 250 abd above but my 3d games wouldn't work right.i have DirectX 9.0 and the driver version is 4.14.10 i think.any help on this?thanks

I presume u using coolbits registry patch to OC? Get the latest Detonator drivers. Just keep bumping up the speeds (GPU/Mem) by 1 or 2 MHz until things go unstable, then drop em back a notch till it's ok again.

yepz,i used coolbits.my card manual says the mem shd be at 180mhz.but when i use coolbits it is like 300++mhz.what am i supposed to do?

If you have the one without a fan you will have to mount a socket 7 or 486 fan on the GPU heatsink. I got my Geforce 2 64MB ver. up to 330 GPU and 390 mem. but I also put little heatsinks on the mem.

Push it right out the window. I had one of those I paid $70 w/shipping (1/03), I figured I couldn't lose since it wasn't that expensive. Wrong, I lost big time! You wont be able to OC it enough for it to be useful. I'm have a ati 9800pro 128mb and am very happy.
