How do I overclock an AMD Athlon 1.0 gz on my HP Pavilion 9790C (AMD Irongate chipset)? What do I need to do inside the box (switches, jumpers, etc)?
Hardware specs on my machine: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=bph05755 http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=bph06020
How far can I push it without buying new hardware?

Very unlikely that the motherboard allows any oc adjustment. That leaves you with software fsb adjusters. Do a net search on setfsb, cpufsb, softfsb, speedfan - they all adjust the fsb but will need to recognize your chipset, which they or may not do.
