I would like to overclock my HP Celeron 366mhz. I checked out my Motherboard jumpers from HP site and I didnt see any jumper for set the FSB to 100 or 133. All I saw was BFO=1-2, BF1=1-2, and so on..... I dont know what jumper should i change to overclock my CPU
Pls check out the site maybe you can explain it to me. http://www.hp.com/cposupport/personal_computing/support_doc/bph04803.html#P1_73

I can tell you that with that setup you are really not going to get anything worth possibly wiping it out. If its a toy that you want to learn ocing on great, start fiddling and see what happens. If it's your daily driver jsut leave it alone. Your multiplier is to low to really get anything out of it, most boards of that level will not run stable at anything over around 110 FSB which at your mulitplier would be worth less than 40hz of clock cycles, truly not enough to notice. If you want a easy way to play google CPUFSB. It's a software FSB toy that will allow you to up the FSB in windows and play, perhaps this would let you see what the system can handle.

Celerons are excellent for overclocking as long as the rest of the components are up to the increase. If you can push up your FSB from 66 to 100 your cpu with its 5.5 multiplier would go from 366 to 550 (if you are currently using it at 366, you will notice the difference at 550). Not only that, but your ram, your graphics, data transfer, etc. would all work faster. You need good general cooling to try this (because it does effect the other components too).
