What exactly is the problem ?

0. Is it not detected ?
1. Is the driver not installing ?
2. Are you getting errors using it ?
3. What is its status in device manager ?
4. Trying to setup a network or broadband ?

if none of those suggestions work then it's prob dead. No biggy you can pick yourself up an ethernet card for cheap. I find them better then the onboard ones anyhow.

It sounds to me as though you haven't installed your ethernet drivers. Have a look in device manager and if there is a question mark next to your NIC then that will allmost certainly be your problem.

The driver will not install. It must be DOA.
It still has a question mark beside it in the
device manager.
